The International Anti-Doping Symposium took place on November 5th, 2024 in Huangzhou, China. That activity took place for 2 days on November 5th and 6th, 2024, with participants from various countries wishing to learn together regarding how to combat doping. At the symposium there were interesting things conveyed by the China Anti-Doping Agency (CHINADA) in which China succeeded in encouraging their athletes to fight doping until they achieved ZERO doping in several major competitions such as the 2021 Chengdu FISU World University Games and the Hangzhou Asian Games.

In addition, the overall number of cases against 11 doping violation regulation also decreased every year from 2018 \u2013 2023, in which in 2023 there were only 0.07% cases of violations of 11 Anti-Doping Violation Regulation. CHINADA’s success in fighting doping to become ZERO doping in several major competitions could be a lesson for other National Anti-Doping Organizations, to be able to instill and strengthen anti-doping education from a young age regarding what clean sport values must be adhered to by athletes and ASPs from small until they grow up.

CHINADA itself has a clean sports value, namely “Win Clean Medals”, the aim of which is to make athletes confident and proud of themselves because they can win medals in a clean and sportsmanlike manner. The Win Clean Medals slogan would not have been successful without assistance from the Government which provided funding to CHINADA of 67,183,600 RMB or approximately 9,425,859 USD (Rp 147,043,400,400). China used these funds to build an Anti-Doping Exhibition in Guangdong, carry out anti-doping educational activities such as seminars, pre-event education programs and anti-doping campaigns. The Anti-Doping Education Exhibition in Guangdong is very impressive, where athletes could learn interactively through games with the help of technology, flip charts, identifying foods that apparently contained doping substances, and writing the athletes’ messages and hopes on the\u00a0wishing\u00a0tree.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
