Source:\u00a0IADO.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>Jakarta, 5 December 2024<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>The Indonesian Anti-Doping Organization (IADO) on December 5th, 2024 organized successfully a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) entitled &#8220;Investigator Design Concept.&#8221; That activity was a strategic step in strengthening the management of anti-doping investigations in Indonesia and presented a number of expert sources and representatives from various related institutions, such as BAIS (Military Strategic Intelligence Agency), BIN (National Intelligence Services), Directorate General of Customes and Excise) , KONI (National Sports Committee of Indonesia), NOC of Indonesia, NPC of Indonesia and various national sports organizations.<br><br>That activity aimed to design an IADO investigator design concept that should be oriented towards professionalism and sustainability. Discussions in the FGD covered various important topics, ranging from national values, legal and administrative aspects, to recruitment operations and investigator training. The material was also enriched with a discussion of the benchmarking results that have just been carried out by the IADO Intelligence &amp; Investigation Directorate to NADO Italy, which was a reference in building more comprehensive anti-doping investigation governance.<br><br>The FGD noted various strategic issues discussed, such as the efficiency of doping testing costs, recruitment mechanisms, and protecting investigator data. Several participants also provided input about the importance of intensive training and providing incentives for investigators who will be assigned. All of this input became valuable material in designing the investigator&#8217;s design concept.<br><br>That activity succeeded in bringing together the views of various stakeholders. It was hoped that the cross-institutional collaboration established during the FGD would be able to create stronger synergy in supporting efforts to monitor anti-doping regulations to create cleaner sports in Indonesia.<br><br>At the end, this event was immortalized through photo documentation, panel discussion sessions, and material presentations from resource persons.
