On July 10th, 2026, IADO accepted an invitation from PAIFORI (Indonesian Association of Sports Physiologists) to serve as a one of the speakers at the PAIFORI Annual Meeting and 1st Conference in Bali. While the event itself spanned two days \u2014 July 10 and 11, 2026 \u2014 IADO participated on July 10th, 2026. PAIFORI is a professional organization for sports physiologists that is authorized to award non-academic certifications following the completion of a series of sports physiology workshops. IADO was represented at the event by the Chairman of IADO, who delivered a presentation covering IADO\u2019s performance, challenges, and scope of work, as well as its expectations regarding PAIFORI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

IADO\u2019s participation was significant, as it provided an opportunity to outline the regulations and common practices surrounding anti-doping violations in the sports world. The association\u2019s mission includes reducing the prevalence of stunting and degenerative diseases (such as coronary heart disease, stroke, diabetes mellitus, and hypertension); enhancing athletic performance; developing and utilizing sports physiology for national development\u2014specifically in health, public fitness, disease prevention, and athletic achievement; and improving the quality of Indonesian sports physiologists through collaboration with relevant bodies or associations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For IADO, the event was also highly beneficial, offering valuable insights into physiology\u2014particularly regarding the maintenance of health and fitness for the general public and athletes alike. This is crucial, as physiology is a branch of biomedical science that studies the normal functions of the human body and its operational mechanisms.
