Prior to the implementation of the XXI National Sports Games (PON) 2024 in Aceh and Northern Sumatra which will be commenced on September 8th to 20th, 2024, the National Sports Committee of Indonesia (KONI) Banten Province carried out character building activities for Banten Province PON Athletes and Contingents, in collaboration with IADO and KONI, athletes and all Athlete Support Personnel (ASP) were given a briefing on Achievement and Anti-Doping Education. A total of 57 persons coming from various National Federations of the regional level were present to get Anti-Doping Education.
Of course, the most important information was the implementation of doping control during PON. IADO, represented by Mrs. Dewi Putri Susanti as Education Staff, provided education and information about doping control in PON XXI 2024. The enthusiasm of the participants, whose majority was athletes, was evidenced by several questions asked during the question-and-answer session, in which a question from one of the participants, namely how to apply for Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE). Then it was answered, in which the application for TUE, of course, has shown that the most important thing is that a medical diagnosis is needed first, then anyone can visit the page www.iado.id that can be able to download the TUE form and then after filling in according to the provisions, and it can be sent via email tue@iado.id or furthermore, anybody can directly contact Whatsapp Official IADO to be forwarded to the TUE Admin who is coincidently a doctor.
