Jakarta, 9 February 2025

To support the campaign of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemenpora) towards Indonesia Fit 2045, the Indonesian Fitness Trainers Association (APKI) on February 6th to 9th, 2025 held the Indonesia Fitness Expo 2025 at the SMESCO Exhibition Hall, Jakarta. That event was an important opportunity for trainers, entrepreneurs, fitness practitioners and healthy lifestyle activists from all over Indonesia to share information, expand relationships and open up opportunities for collaboration.

During that event, various activities took place, namely exhibitions, talk shows as well as calisthenic competitions and international scale kettlebell competitions. Specifically for exhibition activities, IADO had the opportunity to participate by utilizing the booth provided by the committee, by assigning 4 staff, namely: Mrs. Dewi Putri Susanti, Miss. Devi Sagita Tatri, Mr. Dezard Syah Rahman, Miss. Weliza Agustina and Mr. Rapawuli Eko Putro. IADO definitely did not waste this opportunity to more intensively disseminate various information about anti-doping, considering the fact that many members of the public, including those who used to be often active in fitness activities, did not know much about anti-doping.

In addition to participating in the exhibition, IADO was also invited as a one of the speakers in a talk show on February 7th, 2025. Generally, the Chairman of IADO reminded the general public, especially those who are active as coaches, personal trainers or people who frequently work in the gym, to continue to avoid prohibited substances. That was important, because even though they were active in the gym or just fitness at home, it was not to win the championship, but the essence of fair play and prevention of the negative impact of doping on health should be taken into account.
