On 5 September 2025, an Anti-Doping Education activity was successfully conducted by IADO at the Coach and Judge Training Session, which was organised by Indonesian Roller Skating Association of Central Java at the Candi View Hotel in Semarang City. Natashya Marcellina Ardiany, S.Pd., S.M., MA., Director of Education at IADO, was the speaker from IADO involved in the activity. A total of 74 people participated in the activity, and according to the evaluation forms submitted, almost all of them had never received any previous anti-doping education.
Next, several questions were raised during the question-and-answer session following the presentation and viewing of the educational video. One of these was about the brand name of a product. Unfortunately, IADO is not permitted to answer questions about brand names of products that may contain doping substances. This also applies to anti-doping organisations worldwide, as their role is not to mention brand names, but to share information about the current Prohibited List.
Moreover, the presentation at this session provided a comprehensive overview of the rationale for the implementation of anti-doping measures, drawing particular attention to the UNESCO International Convention against Doping in Sport, a multilateral agreement spearheaded by various nations with the overarching objective of preventing and eradicating the pernicious practice of doping in the realm of sports. This international convention was officially registered with the United Nations under Certificate No. 55048 on 15 March 2007. As of October 2022, 189 countries had ratified this convention, including Indonesia through Presidential Regulation No. 101 of 2007 concerning the ratification of the International Convention against Doping in Sport.
