IADO has once again been entrusted to collaborate with the Badminton World Federation (BWF) as the Sample Collection Authority (SCA) for the international BWF Tour Super 100 event – the Wonder Indonesia Masters 2025, which took place at the Pekanbaru Youth Sports Center, Riau. In addition, the event was organized on September 16th to 21st, 2025. That trust further confirmed IADO’s track record, having been trusted by the BWF for many years to handle doping control at various international events, particularly those held in Indonesia. That prestigious tournament, with 308 athletes from 18 countries participating, was a key component of the BWF Tour calendar.
In carrying out its duties, the IADO deployed two Doping Control Officers (DCOs) and two Chaperones to ensure that the entire sample collection process met the standards. That process was carried out based on a Testing Order issued by the BWF, the Testing Authority (TA), guaranteeing confidentiality, integrity, and the protection of athletes’ rights. All sample collection procedures were carried out in accordance with the International Standard for Testing and Investigation (ISTI) and BWF regulations regarding athletes’ rights and obligations. Thus, the IADO ensures that supervision was carried out professionally, fairly, and in accordance with international standards.
Through this collaboration, the IADO hoped that the cooperation with the BWF will continue consistently and serve as a platform for developing the capacity of Sample Collection Personnel (SCPs) to broaden their experience and knowledge for future international sporting events.
