On September 17th, 2025, the Indonesian Sport Nutritionist Association (ISNA) invited the Indonesia Anti-Doping Organization (IADO) to provide anti-doping education at its Intermediate-Level Sports Nutrition Training. The IADO Education Presenter (PRESI), Mrs. Kurnia Mar’atus Solichah, S.Gz., M.Gz., Dietitian, addressed the presentation on the importance of doping control in sports. The event was attended by 30 nutritionists specializing in athlete support. The material presented covered information on anti-doping rules violation (ADRVs) and their relevance as a nutritionist assisting athletes.
One topic discussed was the risk of foodborne doping in food. That could be caused by food contaminated with prohibited substances. One example was the risk of meat contaminated with growth hormones being consumed by athletes. A precautionary measure is to choose meat that has clear information and is free from contamination with prohibited substances on the Prohibited List.
