On November 12th, 2025, IADO received a notification from the Notary Office of Mrs. Yualita Widyadhari, SH., MKn., located in Southern Jakarta, officially submitting the Decree of the Minister of Law of Number: AHU-0002070.AH.01.08 of 2025 on the Approval of Amendments to the Indonesian Anti-Doping Organization. The Decree was signed by the Director General of General Legal Administration (on behalf of the Minister of Law of the Republic of Indonesia) on November 12th, 2025, after previously submitting it through Notary Mrs. Yualita Widyadhari, SH., MKn on November 10th, 2025.
Therefore, since IADO was established on February 4th, 2022, IADO has obtained official permits from the Ministry of Law three times, namely: a. Decree of the Minister of Law and Human Rights of No. AHU-0005670.AH.01.08. of 2022 dated June 13th, 2022 on the Indonesian Anti-Doping Organization Association; Decree of the Minister of Law and Human Rights of No. AHU-0001787.AH.01.07. of 2022 dated September 27th, 2022 on Approval of Changes to the Indonesian Anti-Doping Organization Association; and Decree of the Minister of Law No. AHU-0002070.AH.01.08. of 2025 on Approval of Changes to the Indonesian Anti-Doping Organization Association. This third change was due to changes in several personnel of IADO Management officials while maintaining its status as an independent institution as regulated in the World Anti-Doping Code and Law No. 11 of 2022 concerning Sports.
IADO’s efforts to adjust change the licensing of the IADO association are part of IADO’s compliance with Law No. 17 of 2013 concerning Community Organizations. For the information, although NADO Indonesia (in this case LADI) has been present since 2006, its legal existence has not been officially registered with the Ministry responsible for managing the existence of community organizations. Therefore, when WADA imposed sanctions on October 7th, 2021 due to the non-compliance of LADI and then LADI and the Indonesian Government had to make organizational reformation, it was revealed that before that until early 2022, LADI had not been officially registered as a legal entity with the Indonesian Government.
