IADO in collaboration with two study programs and one faculty at Surabaya State University, namely the Faculty of Medicine, the Diploma 4 (D4) Sports Performance Analysis Study Program, and the Bachelor’s (S1) Sports Coaching Education Study Program, held an Anti-Doping Webinar, whose theme was “Play Clean, Win Classily” Strengthening Anti-Doping Understanding for the Future of Indonesian Sports. The event took place on April 28th, 2026, and was attended by 72 students from several study programs and faculties at Surabaya State University.
The event began with remarks from the Coordinator of the Sports Coaching Education Study Program, Dr. Or. Muhammad, S.Pd., M.Pd., followed by a remark from IADO, delivered by Mrs. Natashya Marcellina Ardiany, S.Pd., S.M., MA., and the webinar was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Surabaya State University, Dr. dr. Endang Sri Wahjuni, M.Kes. The webinar was conducted by dividing the presentation into two sessions, namely the first session discussing the background and objectives of anti-doping to Strict Liability or absolute responsibility delivered by Education Presenter (PRESI) Muhammad Labib Siena Ar Rasyid, S.Pd., M.Pd. In the second session discussed the Prohibited List to ADEL (Anti-Doping E-Learning) delivered by Education Presenter (PRESI) Masaji Dirgantara, S.Or.
The webinar went smoothly, with both IADO Anti-Doping Education presenters delivering all the material well. The event concluded with a lively Q&A session raised by participants. The first question came from a lecturer from the Faculty of Medicine, UNESA, and a doctor from the East Java National Sports Committee (KONI), Dr. Eryksha Mahdy, who asked how to foster an athlete’s responsibility to report what they consumed during and outside of training. The second question came from a student who asked what would happen if a DCO had capped the sample bottle during the sampling process, even though the sample had not been inserted, raising questions about whether this constituted a violation. All questions were answered well by the two PRESI speakers. With the high enthusiasm of all students who attended the webinar, there were many requests to hold another Anti-Doping Education session offline, not online, so that students could have longer sessions and time.
