Directorate of Education of IADO keeps providing activities of anti-doping education in preparation for the 2024 Paris Olympics. In addition to providing information related to Olympic preparations, IADO has also guided athletes to work on their ADEL for Paris Olympics 2024 and provided direct guidance regarding athletes’ Whereabouts. Whereabouts is a platform used by athletes to provide information on their whereabouts. It is useful so that testing authority used to know where athletes are located. Whereabouts is one of IADO’s concerns, because during the Paris 2024 Olympics the International Testing Agency (ITA) will be the only testing authority to take doping tests during the Olympics. ITA has a clear and structured system, but there are still many athletes who still do not know how to use Whereabouts. Consequently, IADO has also provided guidance for athletes to be able to use Whereabouts properly and correctly.

Athletes from the Indonesia Judo National Federation themselves are a sport program that is included in the Olympic qualification. Judoka must undergo a qualification process to secure a place in their respective weight categories for the Games through a world ranking list prepared by the International Judo Federation (IJF). The final Qualifiers will be announced in June 2024. Judo sport competition at the 2024 Summer Olympics scheduled to take place from July 27th to August 3rd, 2024 at the Grand Palais Éphémère, Champ de Mars, Paris, France. The number of judoka competing in fourteen different weight categories has been cut from 386 in Tokyo 2020 to 372.

IADO highly appreciates judo’s athletes (Maryam M Maharani and I Gede Agastya) and coach (Putu Wiradamungga Adesta) who are eager to take their time to visit IADOs’ office at FX Sudirman, Jakarta to learn ADEL and Whereabouts together. Athletes were asked to do a Quiz so that IADO then knew the extent to which athletes understood the exposure previously delivered. During the discussion session, Mr. Putu Wiradamungga Adesta, I Gede Agastya, and Maryam M Maharani were very enthusiastic in asking questions related to filling Whereabouts, because if they are lucky to pass the qualification and will be proceeded to the Olympics, they must update their Whereabouts. The average Quiz score obtained by athletes was 93.3, which means that athletes understood the education delivered by IADO.
