IADO on July 11th, 2024 involved directly to the field to remind athletes about the importance of updating athletes’ whereabouts prior to the 2024 Olympics. One of them was the archery sport and was held in the Jababeka Senior Living area, Cikarang, West Java. Because there are quite a lot of Indonesian athletes who will go to this year’s Olympics, IADO must ensure that all athletes have completed their attendance through whereabouts according to the activities and locations they are participating in.
Based on the consideration of how important it is to fill in athletes’ whereabouts so that there should be no failures in testing, that activity became very important, because failure to fill in whereabouts would be one of the violations of the 11 Anti-Doping Rule Violations (ADRV) which is often forgotten by athletes because they used to be no related to the use of prohibited substances, even though failure to fill in these whereabouts also has real consequences.
Activities like that must always be carried out by IADO in all sports, because IADO is committed to continuing to actively accompany Indonesian athletes, so that all those involved in the world of sports, namely athletes, coaches, doctors and all ASPs (Athlete Support Personnel) always grow in awareness. responsible and obedient culture to carry out fair and clean sports.
