On October 27th and 28th, 2024, the Indonesia Anti-Doping Organization (IADO) organized re-accreditation activities of the send phase of Doping Control Officer (DCO), using the Training of Trainer (TOT) method. That program involved Trainers from IADO who were supervised by a trainer from SEARADO (Southeast Asia Regional Anti-Doping Organization), originally from Miss from Malaysia. That activity aimed to prepare any IADO to carry out DCO re-accreditation independently in the next two years, considering that so far IADO re-accreditation activities have always had to involve any personnel from SEARADO. That program was attended by 24 DCOs who have completed a minimum of 16 Mission Orders (MO) in the last two years.

The event was commenced by a remark by the IADO Chairman Mr. Gatot S. Dewa Broto, which was then continued with a review session by IADO Trainers. In that session, the Trainer provided an update on sample collection procedures based on the 2023 International Standard for Testing and Investigations guidelines, as well as reviewed blood and urine sample collection procedures, including handling partial and additional samples, sample collection for underage athletes, and sample collection to disabled athletes. The session also included case studies regarding various situations that might occur during the urine sampling process and solutions, including documentation and sample transportation procedures to maintain sample integrity and security.

The re-accreditation activity was closed with written exams and practical exams for collecting urine samples, in which each participant took turns playing the role of DCO or athlete in a simulation assessed by the IADO Trainer and supervised by the SEA ADO Trainer. All participants took part in the activity with all seriousness (because they felt worried about not passing), and the event went well and smoothly.
