On January 11th, 2025, the Indonesian Sport Nutritionist Association (ISNA) invited IADO for a webinar series related to the implementation of anti-doping and nutrition education at the multi-event event at PEPARNAS (National Sports Games) XVII in Central Java. The presenter from IADO was Mrs. Kurnia Mar’atus Solichah, S.Gz., M.Gz., Dietitian as one of the IADO education presenters (PRESI). The majority of participants who attended the Webinar Series were nutritionists, especially those who accompany athletes in the field. The material presented in the presentation was related to the implementation of anti-doping education during PEPARNAS and the role of nutritionists who accompany athletes in making anti-doping education for athletes a success.

Anti-doping education, especially during multi-event matches, is one way to prevent doping violations, a form of effort that is in line with the values of clean sports, and is expected to be an athlete’s first experience with anti-doping before doping control / sampling is carried out. The role of nutritionists as athlete supporting personnel (ASP) was also emphasized that the WADA Code also applies the same as to athletes. The points emphasized in anti-doping and nutrition education were related to the use of supplements and the list of prohibited substances / Prohibited List. Nutritionists needed to emphasize the use of supplements in athletes, requiring a special assessment that physiologically they do need additional nutritional intake through supplements. In addition, it was necessary to observe the use of safe and legal supplements. During the activity, pre- and post-tests were given to participants and activity evaluation forms. ISNA also welcomed the introduction of anti-doping activities, especially for nutritionists.
