As these have been organized in previous years, the Indonesia Anti-Doping Organization (IADO) was invited again in the prestigious badminton event Daihatsu Indonesia Masters 2025, which was held on January 21st to 26th, 2025 at Istora Senayan, Jakarta. It was recorded that more than 200 athletes from 21 countries enrolled in the BWF World Tour Super 500 tournament.
IADO was assigned to act as the Sample Collection Authority (SCA) by appointing 3 Doping Control Officers (DCOs) and 2 Chaperones to serve in the prestigious event. IADO’s SCP (Sample Collection Personnel) successfully collected samples in accordance with the Testing Order issued by the Badminton World Federation (BWF) as the Testing Authority (TA) by guaranteeing the privacy and integrity of athlete samples. The entire sample collection process was carried out in accordance with the International Standard for Testing and Investigation (ISTI) procedure and also the BWF sample collection process related to athletes’ rights and obligations.
IADO also hoped that that routine collaboration between IADO and BWF could also improve technical capabilities, add to the list of experiences and competencies of IADO SCPs to face other international events. That activity was expected to motivate SCPs to continue to improve their competencies.
