After the success of the previous two evets, the LPS Monas Half Marathon was held again this year on June 15th, 2025. The event, a collaboration between the Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS) and the Kompas Daily, took place amidst the euphoria of the 498th Anniversary of the City of Jakarta. In this event, IADO was again invited to collaborate with the Indonesia Athletics Association (PASI) to conduct doping control. In this year’s event, a more strategic point-to-point route was taken, with 90% of the route passing through Jakarta’s main roads such as Monas, Lapangan Banteng, and Jalan MH Thamrin. With a wide track, more straight tracks, and minimal bends, this route was designed to maximize runner performance while creating an aesthetic and safe running experience.

The event was officially opened by the Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Mr. Rano Karno accompanied by the Chairman of PASI Mr. Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, Secretary General of the Indonesian Athletics Association (PASI) Mr. Tigor Tanjung, Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS) Mr. Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa, Head of Public Relations and Protocol Bureau of the Ministry of Youth and Sports Mr. Yulia Mahmuddin, and CEO of KG Media Mr. Andy Budiman. The marathon event with the theme “Time to Rise” was attended by 6,000 participants. A total of 190 international runners from 23 countries participated in this event. There were also 31 national elite athletes present at the event. IADO as the Testing Authority and Sample Collection Authority assigned 2 DCOs and 2 Chaperones to the marathon event.
