As part of an effort to improve collaboration with higher education institutions in Indonesia, IADO on June 30th, 2025 established a partnership with the Atma Jaya University, Jakarta. The beginning of the partnership was marked by the signing of an MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) in the Meeting Room of the President of the Atma Jaya University between the two parties, in this case the AtmaJ aya University was signed directly by the President of Atma Jaya University Prof. Dr. dr. Yuda Taruna, Sp. S (K) and IADO by the Chairman of IADO Mr. Gatot S. Dewa Broto.

The contents of the MoU essentially state, among other things, that the purpose of the MoU is as a guideline in carrying out seminar activities, increasing competence, training, research, community service, and others in supporting the Three Social Contribution of Higher Education. While the goal is to optimize the resources of both parties in the framework of implementing seminar activities, increasing competence, training, and others in supporting the Three Social Contribution of Higher Education. Meanwhile, the scope includes Teaching, Research and Community Service in Sports related to Anti-Doping Activities.

In his speech, the President of the Atma Jaya University welcomed the MoU, because it allows the Atma Jaya University to participate in supporting IADO in particular and the Indonesian Government in increasing awareness of athletes and their support personel about the importance of compliance with anti-doping regulations. In return, the Chairman of IADO was very grateful and appreciated the Atma Jaya University. This is not only to help IADO’s mission, but also because it is the first university in Indonesia to establish cooperation through an MoU with IADO. With a number of other universities, there has actually been cooperation, but not yet comprehensively through the signing of the MoU. What exists is only MoUs with 70 sports organizations throughout Indonesia, because these have been strongly required by WADA (World Anti-Doping Agency).
