As a follow-up to the signing of the MoU between the Chairman of IADO and the Rector of Atma Jaya University on June 30th, 2025, the Chairman of IADO was directly invited on July 1st, 2025, to attend a visitation related to the planned opening of the Sports Medicine Specialist Study Program at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Atma Jaya University. The visitation took place at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Atma Jaya University, Jakarta. The IADO’s presence at the visitation was not as a member of the Assessment Team for the program’s opening, but rather as a guest, given that one of the lecture topics to be presented if the program were to open would be related to doping issues.
For IADO, the initiative by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences for inviting IADO was very appreciated. That was not only a consistent follow-up to the MoU signed the day before at Atma Jaya University headquarters, but also to demonstrate the university’s seriousness in demonstrating to the Assessment Team that Atma Jaya University intends to undertake comprehensive preparation, considering that the issue of doping has now become a contemporary global problem. This would ensure that participants in the sports medicine specialist study program at Atma Jaya University will have a comprehensive understanding of regulations and various doping issues.
