From September 11th to 14th, 2025 IADO successfully carried out its duties in monitoring and collecting samples at the 2025 Asian Cadet & Junior Judo Championship, held at the Tennis Indoor Senayan, Jakarta. That success also confirmed Indonesia’s position as a successful host for this prestigious Asian sporting event. The doping control was implemented through close collaboration between IADO and the Indonesian Judo Association (PB PJSI), which has coordinated the anti-doping program from the outset to ensure a clean competition.

The official opening ceremony was held on September 11th, 2025, and was officiated by the Chairman of PB PJSI, General Maruli Simanjuntak, M.Sc., and the President of the Judo Union of Asia Mr. Obaid Al-Anzi. This championship was divided into two categories, namely: the 2025 Asian Cadet Championship, attended by 21 countries with 196 athletes and the 2025 Asian Junior Championship, attended by 20 countries with 198 athletes.

In that event, the IADO acted as the Testing Authority (TA), Sample Collection Authority (SCA), and Result Management Authority (RMA). To that end, the IADO has assigned three Doping Control Officers (DCOs) and seven Chaperones to ensure that all monitoring and sampling processes were conducted in accordance with the International Standard for Testing and Investigation (ISTI) standards. The IADO guaranteed that all stages are carried out with the highest standards of confidentiality and sample integrity, as part of its commitment to fair and doping-free competition.

Through its involvement in this championship, IADO hopes to ensure no violations of the WADA Prohibited List 2025. Furthermore, that participation was part of IADO’s efforts to enhance the technical capacity and professionalism of its Sample Collection Personnel (SCP) team for future international tournaments.
