The Badminton World Federation (BWF) has once again entrusted IADO to collaborate as the Sample Collection Personnel (SCP) at the international BWF Tour Super 100 event – Wondr by BNI Indonesia Masters II 2025, held in Medan, North Sumatra, from October 21st to 26th, 2025. In that prestigious event, IADO was committed to maintain the credibility and quality of doping control by fielding its best team as an official BWF partner at every event held in Indonesia. The tournament was followed by 232 athletes from 15 countries, making it one of the most important competitions on the BWF calendar.
For that tournament, IADO deployed two Doping Control Officers (DCOs) and two Chaperones. The entire sample collection process was conducted based on a Testing Order issued by BWF as the Testing Authority (TA). IADO ensured that all stages of sampling were carried out in accordance with the International Standard for Testing and Investigation (ISTI) procedures and BWF regulations regarding athlete rights and obligations.
The sample collection process was conducted professionally, upholding the confidentiality and integrity of athlete samples. IADO also ensured that all personnel on duty carried out their duties with high discipline and in accordance with international standards. Through that collaboration, IADO hoped that the cooperative relationship with BWF could continue to be well-established and become a consistent partnership in implementing doping control at every BWF event in Indonesia. Furthermore, that activity also served as an important opportunity to increase the capacity and experience of Sample Collection Personnel (SCP) in preparing for various upcoming international sporting events.
