The Indonesia Anti-Doping Organization (IADO) provided anti-doping education at the International Level 1 Weightlifting Coach Training held at the Vasa Hotel in Surabaya on November 26th, 2025, and was attended by 30 coaches. The main topic was delivered by IADO Education Director Mrs. Natashya Marcellina Ardiany, S.Pd., S.M., MA, who explained the global anti-doping structure, the role of coaches in preventing doping, and strengthening the values of clean sport. The educational session was further enhanced by two IADO presenters Mr. Muhammad Labib Siena Ar Rasyid, M.Pd. and Mr. Masaji Dirgantara, S.Pd., who explained the reporting obligations for athletes and the speaking up mechanism for reporting suspected doping violations.
The IADO commended all participants, as for the first time, all coaches had completed the ADEL e-learning course prior to the event. This ensures effective and interactive educational sessions, enhancing coaches’ understanding of how to support a clean and integrated sports environment. Through this activity, the IADO hoped that coaches would be at the forefront of ensuring a clean, fair, and doping-free training environment, while strengthening Indonesia’s commitment to implementing anti-doping programs in accordance with the applicable Anti-Doping Code.
