As a relatively new sport, whose development has dramatically increased over the past year, the Indonesian Padel Management has been quick to anticipate improvements in its organizational performance. On the one hand, the Indonesian Padel leaders, who are members of the Indonesian Padel Association (PBPI), continue to attract public attention, with growing interest from the public in enjoying the sport, which integrates elements of competitive and recreational sports. This has resulted in the increasing number and development of padel infrastructure and sports fields in various locations. On the other hand, PBPI, led by Mr. Galih Dimuntur Kartasasmita, continues to coordinate with various parties to strengthen its organizational presence.
Efforts to strengthen the organization include being recognized as a member of the Indonesian NOC. To that end, PBPI and IADO signed an MoU on December 18th, 2025, with the aim of strengthening cooperation in the field of doping control, as has been established by IADO with 76 other sports organizations in Indonesia (most of which are from the National Federations). Indeed, so far there have been no reports of the use of prohibited substances or violations of anti-doping regulations from the doping community in Indonesia and hopefully there will not be any. Even in a global context, the International Padel Federation (IPF) on April 25th, 2025, signed a cooperation agreement with the ITA (International Testing Agency) for doping control in the international scope. IADO welcomed the MoU with PBPI and opened the opportunity for PBPI to follow up on the MoU in various forms of implementation.
