Indonesia Anti-Doping Organization (IADO) has once again been entrusted to collaborate as the Sample Collection Authority (SCA) for the 2026 DAIHATSU Indonesia Masters, an international badminton tournament at the BWF Super 500 level. The championship was participated by athletes from 21 countries and was held from January 20th to 25th, 2026, at Istora Senayan, Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) Complex, Jakarta.

It was a matter of pride for IADO, having been trusted by the Badminton World Federation (BWF) for many years to handle doping control at various international events, particularly those held in Indonesia. This trust demonstrated IADO’s commitment to maintaining integrity, credibility, and professionalism in implementing its anti-doping program.
For this prestigious event, the IADO was officially appointed by the BWF as the Sample Collection Authority (SCA), with three Doping Control Officers (DCOs) and two Chaperones assigned. IADO successfully collected samples in accordance with the Testing Order issued by the BWF, acting as the Testing Authority (TA), while ensuring the privacy and integrity of athlete samples.

The entire sample collection process was carried out in accordance with the International Standard for Testing and Investigations (ISTI) and BWF sample collection procedures, which govern athletes’ rights and obligations. Through this collaboration, IADO hopes to maintain a sustainable partnership with BWF and to remain a consistent partner in implementing doping control at BWF events. Furthermore, this activity also served as a means of capacity building and enhancing the knowledge and experience of IADO’s Sample Collection Personnel (SCP) in handling doping sample collection at other international events.
