Given the long absence of a plenary meeting between IADO SCPs and IADO Management, despite ongoing interaction during IADO’s ICT and OOCT assignments over the past year, a virtual meeting was held on the evening of January 28th, 2026, attended by IADO Management and almost all SCPs (Sample Collection Personnel). The meeting lasted approximately three hours and was very dynamic and open. Several important and crucial items were discussed, including the unpaid honorariums of SCPs assigned in the last quarter of 2024, the new budget implementation regulations (APBN), which all SCPs should fully comply with to avoid any audit findings by the Indonesian Supreme Audit Agency (BPK RI), and the performance evaluation of all IADO SCPs.
Regarding the unpaid financial rights of all IADO SCPs, on that occasion the IADO Chairman apologized for the problem. He also explained that there was no intention whatsoever from IADO not to pay, because the budget shortfall from the Ministry of Youth and Sports, which was originally signed on November 28th, 2024, was then canceled by the Ministry of Youth and Sports on December 9th, 2024 and of course IADO was very surprised. In addition to financial obligations to all IADO SCPs, IADO also still has a total debt of around Rp 3 billion due to the failure to receive the second phase of the budget, which includes paying the anti-doping laboratory in Bangkok, the travel bureau office and several IADO vendor partners. IADO is committed to continuing to fight for it with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, because it is also in the spotlight of WADA.
