Jakarta, 3 February 2026

As a form of cooperation and as a close neighbor, IADO hosted Miss. Kerry Galhos from the CND (National Sports Commission) on February 3rd and 4th, 2025. Miss. Kerry served as the Person in Charge of Timor-Leste’s NADO, which operates under the CND (similar to the Indonesian National Sports Committee). On the first day of the meeting, all IADO leaders and staff were present in the IADO office meeting room, demonstrating the cordiality and spirit of cooperation between the two countries in the field of doping control.

The meeting at the IADO office was made possible by SEARADO’s initiative. Indonesia, as the closest neighbor and also coincidentally holding the leadership of SEARADO, was expected to share knowledge and experience in implementing doping control. Indeed, the development of Indonesia’s NADO and Timor-Leste’s NADO cannot be simply compared, as Indonesia is categorized as Tier-2, while Timor-Leste is categorized as Tier-4. However, armed with a spirit of solidarity and the goal of closer cooperation, the two countries agreed to cooperate with each other.

On the first day of the meeting (February 3rd, 2026), IADO initially delivered a general presentation about the IADO organization, the implementation of TUE activities and also RM activities. While on the second day (February 4th, 2026) IADO is planned to share experiences in the implementation of testing, education and intelligence. Then in the afternoon will witness the signing ceremony of IADO with ISNA (Indonesia Sports Nutritionist Association), and next will join the FGD event with the Faculty of Medicine, Atmajaya University which plans to invite IADO to provide anti-doping lecture materials for students of the Atmajaya University Medical Study Program on Sport.
