Jakarta, 8 April 2026

On April 8th, 2026, a meeting took place in the IADO office in Jakarta between some of the IADO leadership and the Head of the FK-UI Sports Medicine Specialist Study Program Dr. dr. Nani Cahyani Sudarsono, SpKO(K), accompanied by Dr. dr. Listya Tresnanti Mirtha, SpKO(K), Secretary of the FK-UI Sports Medicine Specialist Study Program. This meeting was a follow-up to a previous virtual meeting on July 28th, 2025, which specifically discussed the planned collaboration between IADO and the FK-UI Sports Medicine Specialist Study Program. Based on the comprehensive preparations for the collaboration between IADO and the FK-UI Sports Medicine Specialist Study Program, which were carried out through several virtual meetings, on November 12th, 2025, UI Rector Prof. Dr. Ir. Heri Hermamsyah, S.T., M.Eng., IPU signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Education, Research and Community Service, with the Chairman of IADO Gatot S. Dewa Broto.

The meeting and signing of the Memorandum of Understanding was immediately followed by a full-day inaugural lecture on anti-doping regulations and implementation in Indonesia for 10 students from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia (FK-UI) taking the Sports Medicine Specialist Program on December 9th, 2025, in the IADO Jakarta meeting room. The inaugural lecture involved the entire IADO leadership and relevant committees (TUE Committee and RM Committee) to provide their competences, demonstrating IADO’s commitment to maximizing the coverage of anti-doping materials from various perspectives, as regulated by WADA.

Given the busy schedules of each party, the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding was followed by the IADO Chairman Gatot S. Dewa Broto on April 8th, 2026, in the IADO meeting room. This collaboration is crucial because it not only provides IADO with the opportunity to collaborate with the Faculty of Medicine of the best university in Indonesia, but also allows the faculty and students of the FK-UI Sports Medicine Specialist Program to acquire the latest knowledge on anti-doping, as regulated by WADA. The IADO collaboration with UI also further expands the scope of IADO’s partnership in the field of education, as in the same year, 2025, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the IADO Chairman and the Rector of Atma Jaya University Jakarta. Recognizing that each partner entity has and follows a different administrative and bureaucratic procedure operating system, IADO, in a meeting on April 8th, 2026, emphasized that IADO is flexible in adjusting the delivery of lecture materials without having to adhere to a single standards provided that those should refer to the World Anti-Doping Code.
