To raise awareness of the importance of clean sport, the IADO Education Directorate held an Anti-Doping Education Webinar on April 8th, 2026, for students of the Physical Education Study Program at Pattimura University’s PSDKU, who are currently studying in Aru Regency. IADO’s Education Presenters (PRESI) who presented are Mr. Vicktor Henry Rony Apituley, S.Pd., M.Pd., and Dr. Ferdinandus Adri Pradhana, Sp.KO. They presented the importance of doping control in sports.

The event was attended by 70 participants. This event was highly relevant for the Aru Islands PSDKU Physical Education students who reside in the 3T (Underdeveloped, Frontier, and Outermost) region, thus ensuring continued expansion of access to educational information, such as anti-doping. Students are expected to not only understand the concept of clean sport but also become agents of education on campus and in the community.

The webinar was interactive, with enthusiastic student participation in the discussion and Q&A session. The webinar focused on the importance of vigilance against the use of drugs, including herbal products, that could potentially contain prohibited substances. Through this activity, IADO, together with Pattimura University, reaffirmed their commitment to supporting the anti-doping movement and developing a healthy, high-integrity, high-achieving young generation free from cheating.
