For the first time at the beginning of 2024, IADO organized a plenary meeting on January 8th, 2024, attended by all personnel of IADO. Office activity of IADO actually commenced on January 3rd, 2024 after having a long holiday of Christmas and New Year events, so that IADO decided to have that meeting on January 8th, 2024. Furthermore, the related-meeting was very important, because it enabled IADO to evaluate all of the previous year’s activities and to note all of the activities which should be executed on the year of 2024, in particular certain activities, which would be conducted on the short coming days such as preparation of ICT on the 2024 Asian Rifle / Pistol Championship on January 6th to 18th, 2024 at the Shooting Venue of Senayan and the visit of high-ranking official from the WADA Accredited Anti-Doping Laboratory of Bangkok on the middle of January 2024.
The meeting also discussed the update of the activities of fulfilling CCQ, whose result until the third week of December 2023 reached 93%. The meeting noted that there are the rests which should be completed immediately, since those are very crucial relating to the CAR (Corrective Action Report) due to the regulation, whereas the other one relates to the completion of the internal regulation of BAKI (Indonesia Sports Arbitration Agency) corresponding with the establishment of the independent appeal council after IADO and BAKI signed the agreement on December 15th, 2023. IADO has committed to fully support the effort which is being pursued by the Ministry of Youth and Sports in cooperation with the Ministry of Law and Human Rights in coordinating with WADA to overcome the problem of regulation. Such special coordination should be conducted after IADO cancelled the plan to take a judicial review to the Sports Act through the Constitutional Court.
Furthermore, the meeting also got a report from the Admin of RM Committee on the performance of RM Committee, in which there were 6 cases which had been completed and published, and the rest have been on the going process. Other topics discussed together corresponded with the possible international conference which should be hosted by IADO on the area of intelligence and investigation. The reason for the forum is to empower the activities of that directorate by comparing them with other NADOs. The only requirement to organize the forum is that the Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation has been strongly requested to prepare it properly, otherwise the forum will only discuss general matters that more relate to education or testing activities. In other words, the Terms of Reference must be prepared as thoroughly as possible before being submitted to WADA, SEARADO and other NADOs who will be invited.
