Maybank Indonesia conducted the 2022 ‘Elite Label’ Maybank Marathon on August 28th, 2022 in Safari and Marine Park, Gianyar in conjunction with the Race Pack Collection August 26th and 27th, 2022 in Bhagawan Garden, Benoa, Bali. In addition, the competition contested the numbers of a marathon, a half marathon and 10K.
PASI and Maybank kindly asked IADO to be the Sample Collection Authority, whereas the Testing Authority and the Result Management Authority were handled by the World Athletics – Athletics Integrity. IADO assigned 6 personnel for the sample collection, consisting of 4 DCOs and 2 Chaperones to collect the athlete’s doping samples in accordance with the Testing Order (TO), published by the World Athletics – Athletics Integrity Unit. The Sample collection was conducted by the Sample Collection Personnel (SCP) IADO and went smoothly without any difficulty.
Furthermore, the duties were implemented on the basis of the 2021 International Standard for Testing and Investigation and were intended to protect the integrity of IADO on the 2022 Maybank Marathon in Bali.
