Indonesia sent the Indonesian Student Athletics Team to take part at the 15th SEA Youth Athletics Championships 2023 held on December 7th to 9th, 2023 at the National Athletics Center, Pathum Thani, Thailand. That event competed in several disciplines, including jumps, throws, long distance 3000 or greater, middle distance 800 m – 1500 m, etc.
Indonesia sent a total of 35 Athletes of age 18, including Male and Female National Athletes along with their Companions. That event was attended by representatives from Southeast Asian countries initiated by the Southeast Asian Athletics Association which had previously been successfully held in the City of Ilagan, Philippines.
IADO also participated in that event and collaborated with the Indonesian Athletics Association (PASI). In addition to PASI, IADO also cooperated with the Doping Control Agency Thailand (DCAT) in the implementation of doping control at thar annual event. Communication between IADO, PASI, and DCAT went smoothly without a hitch so that DCAT as the Sample Collection Authority successfully collected samples in accordance with the Testing Order that had been issued while maintaining integrity that guarantees confidentiality, security, and sample identity.
