IADO just organized a General Meeting of IADO on March 6th to 9th, 2024 in Ciwidey, Bandung – Western Java, whose main agenda was to discuss its Articles of Association and Bylaws 2024. IADO is an organization affiliated to WADA (World Anti-Doping Agency) and supported legally by the Sports Law of No. 11 of 2022 has commitment to continue revitalizing and improving itself. The purpose of the general meeting was to amend the related articles of association and bylaws to align to the latest changes in the development of WADA. The meeting commenced with the proposal submission in the plenary meeting, in which the discussion of the articles of association and bylaws was continued into the appropriate forum, namely the IADO General Meeting. In the implementation of the general meeting began by issuing the rules of order and the appointment of the Chairperson of the Session.
After being provided the mandate to lead the session, the chairperson of the session appointed the Working Committee, assigned to make the amended draft of the Articles of Association and Bylaws in accordance with the notes of all participants of the general meeting attended by Executive Board, Advisory Board and AD-Hoc Committee (RM Committee and TUE Committee). The Working Committee then submitted the amended draft of the Articles of Association to the Chairperson of the Session, discussion was continued and led by the chairperson of the session. At the end, in this General Meeting, the newly IADO Articles of Association have been determined. However, but due to limited time, the Bylaws had not yet been amended. Consequently, the General Meeting was suspended until an unspecified time to continue discussing any change of the Bylaws.
