On May 7th, 2026 IADO continued its 2026 Sample Collection Personnel (SCP) Re-Accreditation activities on the second day in Jakarta. Twenty-five Doping Control Officers (DCOs) who had met the requirements for the re-accreditation process participated in the program. That program aimed to provide updates regarding the International Standard for Testing and Investigations (ISTI) 2026 and to improve the competency of SCPs in conducting field sampling.
In his remarks, IADO Chairman emphasized the importance of maintaining professionalism, integrity, and improving the competency of all SCPs in carrying out their sampling duties. He also emphasized the crucial role of SCPs in implementing field testing programs, and that all personnel must understand and adhere to procedures.
On the second day of the training, IADO Trainers Dra. Linda Rosalina, Apt., M.Si., and Dr. Giri Prayogo, M.Pd., provided material on an overview of IST 2026, SCP management, sample collection preparation, and updates to the sample collection process in accordance with ISTI standards. Furthermore, the SCPs were provided with an understanding of various case studies frequently encountered in the field, including the handling of underage athletes, athletes with disabilities, and special situations in the sample collection process.
Participants were also evaluated on their understanding of procedures and their ability to resolve various issues that may arise during testing. The re-accreditation activity concluded with a written exam, a case study exam, and an in-person interview regarding urine and blood sample collection procedures, which were assessed by IADO Trainers. All participants participated in the series of activities with high commitment and active participation, ensuring that the entire re-accreditation process proceeded in an orderly, smooth manner, and in accordance with the intended objectives.
