JADA had successfully hosted the International Anti-Doping Seminar 2022+ in Asia & Oceania, whose theme was “Reuniting the Clean Sport Community: with a Living Legacy to Preserve the Values of Sport.” The seminar was held on December 14th and 15th, 2022 in Tokyo, in which it was then continued with a joint workshop between JADA and SEARADO on December 16th, 2022. The workshop had the theme of “Code Compliance for Better Practices: Reunited to Raise the Bar Together”.
On the first and second day of the workshop it was explained clearly about the trend and analysis of NADO’s compliance with the World Anti-Doping Code in Asia and Oceania and the delivery of strategies from JADA and ADNO regarding strategies to be able to provide better compliance. Furthermore, it provided a more detailed description of the importance of the role of education and the strategy for preparing an education plan. The third day focused more on how to ensure that NADO could become a truly independent organization. This seminar was also held in a hybrid manner attended by NADO and RADO in Asia & Oceania.
