On November 12th, 2023 BTN (one of the State-owned Bank) organized the BTN Jakarta Run 2023 held around the City Hall of DKI Jakarta Province was opened by a flag off conducted by the acting Governor of DKI Jakarta, the President Director of Bank BTN and the Secretary General of the Indonesian Athletics Association (PASI). That activity was held in order to support Sport Tourism as well as a series of commemorating DKI Jakarta’s 496th Anniversary. The enthusiasm of that marathon event successfully reached 12,600 participants consisting of mostly runners from Indonesian citizens and foreign citizens taking part on several race categories, namely Full Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K and 5K Fun Run.
In order to support Clean Sport, Indonesia Anti-Doping Organization (IADO) participated in doping control at the event. The entire doping control process was conducted smoothly and managed to collect samples in accordance with the Mission Order. IADO tried to maintain integrity by ensuring confidentiality, security, and sample identity.
