IADO has once again been entrusted with carrying out doping control at the prestigious 2026 Polytron Indonesia Open Badminton event, part of the BWF World Tour Super 1000 series. The tournament, which took place at Istora Senayan, Jakarta, from June 2nd to 7th, 2026, with a total prize pool of USD 145,000,000, invited hundreds of elite world athletes competing for the championship title in one of the most prestigious tournaments on the international badminton calendar. As the Sample Collection Authority (SCA), IADO assigned several Sample Collection Personnel (SCPs) responsible for controlling the doping sample collection process throughout the competition. All sampling activities were conducted by IADO as Sample Collection Personnel (SCP), and a Mission Order issued by the Badminton World Federation (BWF) as the Testing Authority (TA).

To maintain the integrity and credibility of the competition, the IADO adhered to the International Standard for Testing and Investigations (ISTI) established by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), as well as the Badminton World Federation (BWF) regulations governing athletes’ rights and obligations. The entire sampling process was conducted professionally, independently, and in accordance with international standards, while ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of each sample tested. IADO’s involvement in one of the world’s most prestigious badminton tournaments reflected the organization’s strong commitment to supporting clean, fair, and doping-free competition. This oversight aimed not only to protect athletes who compete honestly, but also to ensure that each match outcome reflects the abilities and hard work of the participants.
