IADO hosted an academic visit for sixth-semester students and their supervising lecturers from the Bachelor’s Program in Physical Education, Health, and Recreation (PJKR)—part of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education at Universitas Muhammadiyah Indonesia—as part of their Field Study (KKL) program. Held on July 27th and 29th, 2026, at the IADO office, the activity aimed to broaden students’ insights into the implementation of the Anti-Doping Program while instilling Clean Sport values in future educators and sports practitioners. This visit reflected IADO’s commitment to supporting sports education development by providing students with direct, hands-on learning experiences. During the event, participants gained an understanding of IADO’s role and function as the national anti-doping organization responsible for executing the Anti-Doping Program in Indonesia in accordance with the World Anti-Doping Code and International Standards.
The material presented covered the scope of IADO’s duties and functions, the Education Program, Testing, Investigations, and various aspects of implementing the Anti-Doping Program in Indonesia. Through these presentations, students gained a comprehensive overview of the national anti-doping system and the importance of upholding integrity in sports. The event was interactive, featuring presentations, discussions, and Q&A sessions with IADO representatives. The students’ enthusiasm was evident in the wide range of questions asked—covering topics from doping testing procedures and prevention through education to investigation mechanisms for handling alleged anti-doping rule violations. These sessions deepened the students’ understanding of the importance of complying with national and international anti-doping regulations as a means of safeguarding fairness, sportsmanship, and integrity in sports.
A collaboration has been established between IADO and the Undergraduate Study Program in Physical Education, Health, and Recreation (PJKR) at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Muhammadiyah Indonesia, through various academic activities. One such initiative was IADO’s participation as a speaker at a general lecture held on July 30, 2026, themed “Shaping the Future of Sport: Achievement, Integrity, and Professionalism.” During the event, IADO introduced the “Clean Sport” concept as a foundation for building a sports ecosystem characterized by integrity, a commitment to sportsmanship, and an absence of doping practices.
IADO Chairman Gatot S. Dewa Broto expressed his appreciation for the event. He noted that higher education institutions play a strategic role in fostering a culture of integrity in sports through education and character building among the younger generation. “We hope this event does not merely serve as a one-off academic visit but marks the beginning of a sustained collaboration between IADO and the educational sector. Students—whether aspiring teachers, coaches, academics, or sports practitioners—are expected to become agents of change capable of disseminating Clean Sport values, upholding sportsmanship, and raising awareness about the importance of doping prevention within the Indonesian sports landscape,” said Gatot. IADO believed that synergy between anti-doping agencies and educational institutions is a strategic step toward building a national sports ecosystem that is clean, fair, and grounded in integrity. Through continuous education, it was hoped that more young people will understand the importance of complying with anti-doping regulations and commit to achieving honorable sporting success for Indonesia at both national and international levels.
