Indonesia contributed to the promotion of clean sport at the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games through the participation of Director of Education IADO Mrs Natashya Marcellina Ardiany, S.Pd., S.M., MA as one of six Clean Sport Ambassadors appointed by the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA). As part of the programme, Natashya worked alongside fellow Clean Sport Ambassadors to conduct educational activities and engage directly with athletes, coaches, and delegation members from various countries. The activities were carried out at athlete accommodation areas, using an interactive approach to promote greater awareness of the importance of clean, fair, and integrity-driven sport.

One of the key activities was to encourage athletes and delegation members to participate in educational quizzes and with the interactive session. Through these activities, participants had the opportunity to strengthen their understanding of clean sport principles, athlete responsibilities, anti-doping rules, and the importance of making decisions that protect the integrity of sport. Beyond delivering educational messages, the Clean Sport Ambassadors also gathered direct feedback from athletes and delegation members about their experiences with anti-doping education. These insights provided valuable learning on the delivery of education in a diverse, multilingual, and multicultural international sporting environment.

Indonesia’s participation in this programme represented IADO’s contribution to strengthening a culture of clean sport while providing valuable international experience for the development of anti-doping education professionals in Indonesia. The Clean Sport Ambassador experience also provided an opportunity to apply a values-based education approach and gain broader insight into international practices in anti-doping education. Through this experience, IADO remains committed to supporting the development of a sporting environment in Indonesia that upholds integrity, fairness, health, and the values of clean sport.
